To understand the interfacial mechanisms of polymer grafted inorganic nanoparticles, our research is focused on novel inorganic/organic interactions, new characterization of the  microstructures of grafted polymer ligands, and macromolecular-mediated chiral assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles.

The main achievements are as the follows:

1) the strategies for polymer-directed shape- and size-controlled growth of Aluminium nanocrystals and their stabilization;

2) new methods for tuning the microstructures of grafted polymers and their interaction with surrounding medium;

3) a series of approaches for the chiral assembly of plasmonic nanoparticles with giant g-factors mediated by macromolecular ligands and the development of practical applications of plasmonic enhanced chiral materials.
